  1. 1/4 cup butter
  2. 4 cloves garlic, minced
  3. 16 ounces mushrooms, washed and pat dried
  4. salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Instructions
  1. Place a large cast iron skillet into the oven and preheat oven to 400 F. You can also use a pie pan or casserole dish, which don’t need to be preheated.
  2. Microwave a butter and garlic in a small dish for 30 seconds.
  3. Cut off the stalks of the mushrooms and place cap-side down in a preheated skillet. Spoon some garlic butter on each cap. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  4. Roast mushrooms for 25-30 minutes, or until fork-tender, drizzling with butter from the bottom of the skillet in the middle of the roasting.
